CCNT Ministerial Staff

Dr. Blaine Mays

Dr. Blaine Mays
Blaine has been in New Thought all of his life. He served as Senior Minister at Unity of Phoenix for 27 years. President of the International New Thought Alliance for 26 years. He is one of 22 ministers to receive an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from the Association of Unity Churches. He is a former member of Silent Unity and is Co-Minister of Community Church of New Thought.

Dr. Betty Mays

Dr. Betty I. Mays
Betty was ordained by Dr. Joseph Murphy in 1980. She served as Pastoral Director and Associate Minister for 27 years at Unity of Phoenix. She also trained at the Living Bible Center and received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity in 1992. Betty is now serving as Pastoral Director and Co-Minister of Community Church of New Thought.

Dr. Mimi Ronnie

Dr. Mimi C. Ronnie
Mimi was born into New Thought. After graduating from Fresno State University, she began her studies in Religious Science International. Mimi has been involved in the founding of seven New Thought churches. She was ordained in 1981 by Dr. Joseph Murphy. Mimi became Executive Director of the International New Thought Alliance in 1976 and is now COO for the Alliance. Mimi is Co-Minister of Community Church of New Thought and received her Honorary Doctorate in 1999.

Revs. Marvin and Debbi Brown

Revs. Marvin and Debbi Brown
Revs. Marvin and Debbi Brown, Instructors, have extensive background in New Thought education and presentations. Marvin and Debbi were ordained by the Lola Pauline Mays New Thought Seminary in April, 2002. Debbi has written a manual covering death, dying, grief, spiritual counseling, ministering to the sick, and administering last rites, memorial services, baptisms, and weddings.

Rev. Lynne Hollander

Rev. Lynne Hollander
Lynne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Washington. Lynne spent 13 years studying and teaching the evolution of consciousness based on the Fourth Way teachings of Georges Gurdjieff, Peter Ouspensky, and Rodney Collins, followed by graduate work and certification with the California Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. Lynne was ordained by the Lola Pauline Mays New Thought Seminary in March, 2000 and is presently the Director of the Addington International New Thought Alliance Archives, Research Center, and Library.

Doug and Karen Jones

Doug and Karen are Co-Chairs of the Addington International New Thought Alliance Archives Committee. Karen is a Practitioner with Community Church of New Thought. Their professional backgrounds and extended familiarity with New Thought material are valuable assets to organizing and cataloging the Archives and bringing it to international accessibility.

Rev. William Spence

Rev. William Spence
William is an ordained minister of the Lola Pauline Mays New Thought Seminary, he has been involved in New Thought for 45 years, including church administration, building, financing, counseling, speaking, and teaching. He is a board member of the International New Thought Alliance and is its General Counsel. In adidtion to Bill's great service to the many dimensions of New Thought, he has maintained a large and successful law practice in the Valley of the Sun.
